East Java, Indonesia
During our time in Indonesia, we had the pleasure to visit East Java where we did a 3 day trek, through beautiful waterfalls and then watch an amazing sunrise while looking pout onto Mount Bromo. This was followed by climbing to the Mount Bromo created watching an active volcano was a surreal moment. The 3rd day we climbed Mount Ijen where we saw blue lava for the first time as e tracked inside the active volcano at night. As we climbed back up we saw the sunrise and the blue water of Mount Ijen below. A perfect 3 day trek with breath taking moments.
